The plantain wife

In Bengali tradition, a plantain tree often joins Ganesha on the Durga Puja shrine as his wife. Stories vary, but here we see my older daughter's interpretation drawn on a block, wearing her wedding sari and bindi and going, "What? Why am I a person now?"
