All full of frogs, Red Bird Wildlife Preserve, IA
Every dark lump on the edge of this shallow scummy pond is a great big frog. There were certainly hundreds of them, perhaps even thousands, and they were making a remarkably enjoyable croaking din.

Another view up into the dangling tiger lilies. With their huge protruding filaments and anthers, they make me think of alien landing craft.
