Obsolete media in wavering piles, all scanned and now forgotten but for my instinct never to throw the originals away.

Diya lights

Stacks of plain clay diya lights. These should really burn oil for a single puja festival and then return to the earth, but in our household they carry votives and serve until broken by a small child or animal.

Diya lights

Our house has a great many diya lights, small ceramic lamps for celebrating various South Asian festivals. Traditionally, they are temporary, and would be filled with oil and used only for a single festival before going back to the earth, but we tend to use votive candles and keep them around long term instead.

Flowing droplets

Three big drops, skating quickly along with bow-waves out in front of them, even as they begin to lose their tenuous hydrogen-bonding hold and fall.
