The Davenport Skybridge is a curious structure, going from the middle of a municipal parking lot over a not-too-busy road to the edge of the Mississippi. I mean, there is a nice view of the river from that end, but overall it feels lacking in sufficient purpose to justify it from a pragmatic view while at the same not being particularly audacious as a straight up monument / tourist attraction.
