Playful children mural, Portland, OR

Children play with soap bubbles on this mural at an underpass. I want to like the mural, except that I'm uncomfortable at the racism of the bright yellow skin given to the Asian-American kids. I have no doubt that the artist was well intentioned toward inclusivity, but I can't imagine this mural is old enough that somebody shouldn't have pulled the artist aside and had a quiet talk about fixing things.
